9 Months Procedure for Reviewing Policies

There is a great importance to review policies on at least an annual basis and to share the review process with all involved within the Nursery. This will prove you are working as a reflective practitioner and researching legislations and laws

There will be support and advice available through your Pre-School Learning Alliance Development Worker.

The process should follow an effective system 

1, Read through all polices noting where changes may need to be made, remembering legislation and laws which may have been amended or introduced.

2, Re draft policies

3, Circulate to all staff members. Asking for feed back

4, Amend any changes needed and produce policy or procedure signed and dated.

5, Re circulate, copies should be given to all members of staff.

To alleviate a large piece of work a rolling programme could be produced and one policy reviewed each month.
